Ever want to eat good-quality food on campus but don’t want to venture to the Commons? Well, look no further and pay a visit to Establishment at Statler Hall!

“Thyme to Live Lavishly”

Establishment is a student-run restaurant that gives Hotelies the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in restaurant management (HADM 3350). The restaurant has a regular set menu, and students come up with different themes for each night. So far, I have eaten during Italian, Korean, and Chinese theme nights. Also, some students come up with creative themes such as Hunger Games night.

Some reasons you should visit Establishment include:

  • Reasonable pricing – the appetizers are about $5-7 each and the entrees are about $15-17. Also, Establishment does not require guests to pay tip.
  • Prime location – situated on the second floor of Statler Hall, the Establishment space offers a beautiful view of the campus.
  • Support friends – most of the time, I visit Establishments because my friends are the organizers of the themed dinners. After dinner, guests fill out a survey about the service and food quality.
