The Good Batch

It was a beautiful summer day in New York City, so my friend and I decided to go for a walk along The High Line in Chelsea after a delicious meal at Santina, located next to the Whitney Museum of Art. As we were enjoying the warm summer air and the greenery surrounding the path, we came across The Good Batch’s cart. This was a great surprise. I usually see The Good Batch posted up at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn, but I had no idea they had a spot on The High Line. I knew I had to take advantage of this opportunity. Full of excitement, I ordered one of their famous ice cream sandwiches. Since it was my first experience with The Good Batch, I decided to go the safe route with “The Classic,” vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between two chocolate chip walnut cookies. The combination between the vanilla ice cream and the chewy, tasty cookie was perfect. It was the ideal dessert to top off a wonderful lunch and a full day of walking.
